The awe-inspiring Stanford House was built for Nottingham’s wealthiest silk merchant, William Stanford, in 1775 with no expense spared. The building changed hands a number of times but fortunately, having had one owner for most of the last 100 years, it has been preserved and retains all of its original charm and character. Following a careful programme of sensitive restoration, we are making these dramatic spaces, in this outstanding building, available once more.Located on the corner of Castle Gate and Stanford Street. This Georgian mansion is based just a couple of minutes walk from the main city centre and surrounded by main high street shops, cafes and bars. Just a 5 minute walk from the train station.
