8 Person Private Office at 12 Melcombe Place, Marylebone

Newly refurbished offices in a Grade II listed building within Marylebone Station. A Grade II listed building, we worked with architects Metropolitan Workshop to fully refurbish the space, having lain derelict for 30 years Formerly the boardroom and ancillary space for British Rail’s head office (in what is now The Landmark), now private offices, a drop-in lounge, meeting rooms and event space.

Literally 15 seconds walk from Marylebone Tube station, Melcombe Place had been derelict for 30 years before we breathed new life into it. SHED architects are the brains behind its most recent refit, completed in 2019, transforming what once was British Rail’s head office into contemporary office space with a library, living room mini retreat space complete with a hanging chair.
