Airport House, formally known as Croydon Airport, was the first airport in the world to introduce air traffic control and was London's first major airport in 1916. Croydon Airport hung up its pilot hat in 1959 and we are now Croydon's number one business centre with over 300 individual businesses operating within our 75,000sqft building. From serviced office space, to shared office units, virtual packages and meeting rooms we offer the complete commercial package for any established or start up business. We are incredibly proud of the history of Airport House and have worked hard to retain the character of our building without compromising on the demand for modern services and facilities. Our fully serviced offices have been redecorated to an extremely high standard and alongside our modern furniture, state of the art technology and impressive internet speeds they offer fantastic views and access to our on site facilities. Alongside our three meeting rooms, we also have an on site café and restaurant. Cloud 9 Pantry is open from 8am and is popular with our clients for their morning coffees and lunchtime sandwiches. Imperial Lounge & Restaurant is open from midday and is great for a formal lunch and evening cocktail. Our small but dedicated Business Centre team are on hand from 08.30 to 17.30 Monday to Friday and have been trained to a high standard to provide business support and an immaculate first impression for all visitors to Airport House. The original control tower is now home to the Croydon Visitor Centre displaying original memorabilia from the days when Airport House operated as Croydon Airport. It's open on the first Sunday of each month and we highly recommend a visit.
