Founded in 1936 as a residential investment and development company, it was listed on the London Stock Exchange in 1959 and subsequently taken private by Hanover Acceptances in 1980. The company is an active investor in both the commercial and residential property sectors. Dorrington combines its leading position as a residential investor and landlord in the UK with a specialist role as an active, value-driven investor in the Central and Greater London commercial markets.
