We support Global NGO Centres in developing a shared services centre in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Global NGO Centres provide a professional shared services environment to Ethiopian charities, enabling them to become more efficient and effective in the delivery of essential services to the most vulnerable in Ethiopian society. The centre will offer training programmes covering topics affecting all aspects of running a successful organisation, including charities' legislation compliance, financial management, employment law, communications and promotion, board roles and responsibilities, team leadership, conflict resolution, fundraising, and monitoring and evaluation. Our long term goal in Ethiopia is to support 250 local charities by 2017. Research shows that over a 2 year period, these charities provide essential services to over one million Ethiopians.
